What to expect during your Initial Consultation
Health History
Your case history looks at overall health. It is designed to reveal your past health experiences and helps us to determine your immediate health needs and those that may be remaining from previous moments of sub-optimal health.
Chiropractic Examination:
Your Chiropractor will complete a thorough examination of the function of your spine and nerve system. This will include a postural assessment, orthopedic and neurological tests, muscle tests, range of motion exam, and palpation of the area to determine the cause of your problem.

Why are X-rays taken?
X-rays and other images are extremely helpful to your chiropractor, and may be necessary on your initial examination. Pictures of your spine can be used to determine the relationships between your spinal bones (vertebrae) to assess for any degenerative changes and to rule out more serious problems.
